While constructing my ideal website, I was very persistent to create a unique colour scheme that matched my logos presenting the website in its best look. through the process of storming ideas together, I planned to include significant pages and the main page to be towards me "About Me".

Home page (About Me)
Exclusive (Projects constructed outside of Media)
Upcoming (Showreel and other projects across the years of media)

Diary of my website production

14/12/21 - Today is the day I start creating my ideas for the website and focusing mainly on my colour scheme, layout and navigation.

01/04/22 - I have found the right layout I want for my website and will be making final touches to make it the way I exactly want to also will be including the colour scheme. I have also been making a bit of improvement on the website outside of my college hours.

01/14/22 - I've executed most of my ideas correctly. The layout and presentation of the website are exactly how I wanted it to be, meaning I've completed my website. I have also sent the link to a few of my targeted audience to see how they feel and what they think about it.

I decided to interview some friends about my website design due to them being within my audience reach, there are some of the questions I have prepared for their interview.

What do you like about my website?

The website overall looks very nice and detailed, easy to navigate and it creates this sort of image about the related personnel.
It looks professional and cool, lovely colour scheme makes it look mature and professional.
It is well organised and presented
Your website is well constructed and it has a consistent colour scheme which is nice.

Is my website an efficient way to discover my work as a digital portfolio platform?

7 - Yes - 3 - No
Yes because it is a website designed and re-imaged to be a portfolio
No, because it is basically a website with images rather than a full presentation of the product.

If you could, what improvements would you make to the website?

I think if you could dedicate a page for your showreel that will make it look more sick and slick.
Maybe a little paragraph about your work would be nice for each individual project you've done.
Nothing it's the best it could be
If you add info about your work and projects on the website it would be better.

Although the feedback I have received isn't the best it seems like most of my work is done i just need to add a few final touches onto it to make it that tiny bit better. I was very satisfied that they enjoyed the colour scheme and was mentioned by almost everyone because that was my main plan for the website to stand out with colours and design rather than just upload a few work pieces and call it a website. Everyone was impressed by the layout and how well I redesigned it as I've shown them how my website was before and after the redesign. I have worked a bit more on navigating through the website and made sure everything is simple and as mentioned I have created a showreel page just for it. I was satisfied with my website being categorised as a portfolio for my work.

 

I have had unfortunate issue with my website and to resolve this issue i decided to use a different way to present my work and my oeverall progression thorughout the academic years.
