Academic Research (Apprenticeships)
The main focus of my media career is to manifest an understanding, professional practice and experience in visual effects, video editing and videography. While researching I've observed some very interesting roles supporting my goals and also suiting my ability in media production.
This is the first option for my career path I have been interested in, Apprentice junior content producer Full-time Salary (45 Hours Per Week) The apprenticeship is from a company Apprentify, it is an apprenticeship associated company providing service for young adults towards apprenticeships and easy contact with their employers but also their courses.
Main Activities -
This position is very unique with the duties presented and how you as an upcoming videographer/editor view their business. Everything done will be with other individuals from multiple social media groups, making selective and progressive ideas depending on the product. You as an individual would need a high educational status for this apprenticeship and will be always exploring ideas in the film, video, and editing. design and digital products. For this position, there will be a high skill board expected of how the products and processes are executed.
- Assist the Marketing Manager to run company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
- Support with content creation including research to generate content for social media channels, blog writing, newsletters, email marketing and videos
- Create dynamic written, graphic, and video content
- Assist with social media management with projects and events
Qualities Required -
- Ability to work independently and to take responsibility
- Using own initiative
- Taking a thorough and organised approach
- Ability to work with a range of internal and external people
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations
Qualification and Experience Required -
- GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English Language
- Logical and creative thinking skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative writing skills
My Second option for the progression in my career that is interesting is, Videographer and editor Full-time (35 Hours Per Week) for one of the most successful commercial paramedical companies Boots UK

- Working with clients to turn their briefs into clear, agreed storyboards
- Filming and editing high-quality video for a range of uses and digital channels
- Working efficiently and at pace to meet short deadlines
- Working with designers & other motion graphics staff to ensure the final delivery of high-quality video to style and brief
Qualities Required -
- A high level of editorial & video production skills and attention to detail
- The ability to help clients translate their needs and briefs into completing video
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, plus flexibility
- The ability to work at pace and solve production problems common in a busy agency & studio
Qualification and Experience Required -
- Logical and Creative thinking skills
- Close eye to detail and previous editing skills
- Ability to use high-end editing software
- Degree level of education in a media field
